Plan and Prepare for Long-term Services & Supports

Looking to the future.

It can seem overwhelming to plan for possibly needing long-term services and supports in the future. But it doesn’t have to be. You can make a great start right here with information, tools and guidance from Washington’s Community Living Connections (CLC).

Washington’s CLC network has partners throughout the state trained to talk with you about your situation. A local specialist can help you find resources to meet your current needs, talk with you about your long-term care needs and options; and as you desire, help you access various services and supports.

This section is primarily geared toward older adults; however the need for long term services and supports can happen at any age. Planning ahead will help you understand your options, give you the ability to prepare, and ultimately allow for more choices and lower overall costs. Much of the information may be useful for adults with functional disabilities and individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as their families.
