Respite service provides caregivers a time of relief from caregiving tasks. Lifespan Respite Washington offers a statewide voucher system to help offset the cost of paying for respite services for qualifying caregivers.
Lifespan Respite Washington consists of a statewide coalition comprised of family caregivers and staff from organizations across the state, representing all populations regardless of age (“lifespan”), income, cultural or ethnic background, or need/disability of the care recipient. The coalition is sponsored by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Administration for Long-term Services and Supports.
