Below is a list of resource links for persons with developmental disabilities, their family members, caregivers, and other interested individuals.

• Informing Families Building Trust: Sponsored by the DDC , a partnership for communication on developmental disabilities issues in Washington state
• Introduction to My Life Plan - a Person-Centered Planning Guide (PDF): Describes the My Life Plan, an electronic tool that helps individuals and families think about and create a plan for all the areas of a person’s life. It was created through a partnership between Washington State’s Developmental Disabilities Council and the ARC of Washington.
• My Life Plan - a Person-Centered Planning Guide: Here is the tool itself – a self-directed electronic questionnaire intended as a guide that puts a person with disabilities in the center of life decisions at every step of the way.
• Washington State DSHS Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA): State agency that determines eligibility for federal and state-funded DD services and supports, including those covered by Medicaid.
• DDA Resource Links: links to advocacy organizations, organizations serving specific DD populations, and topics of interest (i.e. DD and the arts, research and historical centers, family support, early intervention, employment, and health).
• Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC): Developmental Disabilities Council members are appointed by the Governor to plan comprehensive services for the State of Washington's citizens with developmental disabilities.
• Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD): the principal agency of the Administration for Community Living, part of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services, designated to carry out the provisions of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000.
